Today I began my day with a beautiful yoga session, light breakfast and then drove Abraham, my grandson to school. He is nearly five now and we hit the road early enough to take in a stunning monochromatic view.
The colors were misty cerulean this morning.
I proceeded to continue my child care duties by making a batch of apple sauce with Levi, who is 15 months old. He is a pure delight and kept his attention on our apple peeling process for quite some time. He especially enjoyed it when I spread a bit of peanut butter on his little apple pieces and topped them with raisins.
The colors were sweet amber and juicy orange mid morning.
By late afternoon I was able to break away for a sunny afternoon hike at Good Harbor Bay. The snow is mostly gone and revealed peeks of moss and composting leaves. The yellow glow of the late afternoon sky winked at me in the reflection of the ice cold water. Upon my journey home, I was graced with a nice view of a doe on the hill side.
The colors were forest green, muted taupe and toasty burnt sienna this evening.
The day was completed with a beautiful family supper and sweet love around the table.
