I had the pleasure of capturing the moment my new friend Jerrold Blocher proposed to his sweetheart Amanda Harmeyer at a spectacular overlook near Port Oneida.
Jerrold was referred to me by my good friend Georgia Gietzen, when he requested hiring a photographer to surprise his girlfriend during the proposal!
He and I conspired over several weeks, leading up to the appointed moment of the exciting event.
I was able to arrive at our determined destination prior to them, where I hid in the woods. Shortly after they came up to the top of a lookout, I came out of the woods and headed their way. I kept a close eye on the pair, as I moved in their direction, and captured the once-in-a-lifetime moment when he went down on one knee…
The tears of joy were flowing for this beautiful couple and he slid the ring on her finger…their smiles were contagious and their love clearly effervescent!
